Man, our yard is a never ending project. I'm sure Conor feels it more since he's the main one busting his chops. It is really starting to come together and the hard work shows! (Not necessarily in these photos, but as I look out the window. I need new photos to post!)
It was a hot, dry month during June and not the best for planting. But, we were desperate to get something out front to enjoy. Our neighbor also put his yard in and we bought his leftover sod. It was an unexpected thing on a Saturday afternoon and we worked like mad to get it down by evening. Luckily we had already ordered a truckload of dirt to lay out. Plus, Conor's parents were here visiting for the weekend and helped make it happen.

Hazel likes her headbands. She just got a little hungry. lol! |

Yard--before covering trenches, leveling, covering with dirt, sod and planting. I know is appears Conor is the only one working, but the rest of us put in some time as well. |

Oh, and I forgot to mention Phil had surgery a few days prior for a torn meniscus. He was a real trooper hobbling around on his crutch, shoveling dirt, installing the landscape lights, etc. |

Phil & Judy went to a wedding in SLC and took Hazel. I got her all dolled up for her 1st reception. Too bad she pooped all over it before they arrived. Classic. |

It also happened to be Father's Day while they were here. Phil said it was okay for Conor to be in one photo. |

Conor's 1st Father's Day!!! |

Eating some puffed rice snacks. She really just played with it. Maybe in a month or two she'll like them. |

1st time Hazel used a sippy cup and she did great considering she never has used a bottle. |
And one week later the grass was still alive! That means Conor did a great job installing the sprinklers. Phil and Judy flew back to see how it looked. Haha! Not really, but they did come the following weekend, along with Otto, Brenna and Maddie.
